When to Neuter a Mother Dog
by: Donna - dog-beds-n-beyond.com

Your dog can be spayed once the the puppies are weaned, which would be approximately 6 to 8 weeks but 10 to 12 would probably be better.

Mother dogs can become pregnant while nursing so it is important she have no contact with any male dogs to prevent the risk of pregnancy.

You can double check this with your veternarian.
